To help break through the one-sided media coverage around
the U.S.-Israeli onslaught on the people of Gaza, on
Monday, January 19th - Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday -
there will be mass tabling throughout Philadelphia, with
locations to be determined by the number of volunteers we
get out.

Since this is a school holiday as well as a work holiday
for many we hope that you can volunteer if you are off
(work or school that is).

We will have a pre-meeting - orientation session at 10am
at the Calvary Church, 48th & Baltimore in W. Philly.
We'll have coffee and refreshments. We want to spend
about an hour orienting people on what we hope to get out
of these tabling sessions, what materials we have, and how
to handle hostile questions.

We will have fact sheets, a petition, hopefully a sign up
to endorse an ad in the Metro, and fliers announcing the
Monday early evening candlelight vigil.

Actual tabling will start at noon at designated sites -
most likely the Gallery at 8th & Market; Rittenhouse
Square; 69th St. Terminal; Broad and Erie; Broad & Spring
Garden; 15th & Market; and a South Philly location.

Please respond to Phillyiac at action-mail.org if you can
help, even if you can only table, but not make the
orientation.
